ok, I start 65 stitches, chain 3, 8 double crochet, chain 2, 1 double crochet in the same stitch, 14 double crochets, chain 2, 1 double crochet in the same stitch, 17 double crochets, chain 2, 1 double crochet in the same stitch, 14 double crochets, chain 2, 1 double crochet in the same stitch, 8 double crochets. when i added 8, 14, 17, 14, 8 together, it gives me 61 stitches, what am i to do with the 4 left over stitches, what have i done wrong? please help.

Maybe it's just me but this is the second pattern I've tried to follow and it's just not clear enough for me to follow. I've been crocheting for 50 years now so I'm in no way a beginner. I think the problem I'm experiencing is that the AI voice isn't giving clear directions. For instance in row 3, the voice says to make the treble in the middle but it doesn't say to put it in the same stitch as all the trebles from the row below, It sounds as if it's to go in the single crochet. It's very clear by the video that in the non-English version a lot more explanation is taking place and it would probably be far easier for me if there was a way for all of your directions to be translated to English. Another issue I'm having is where exactly to put the double at the end of the row. The directions are only telling me to chain 2 and make a double but its impossible for me to make out exactly what chain that double goes in. When I skip 2 of the chains and put the double in the 3rd chain, it doesn't look right so I only skipped 1 and placed it, that looked more like yours does. The AI voice doesn't say where to put it and unfortunately, even with zooming in, I just cant see what you're doing. Again this could be just me and I'm not meaning this to sound like criticism, I'm simply explaining what's happening to me on my end. I absolutely love your channel and will continue to watch your beautiful work. I think I figured this pattern out with several tries which is fine since I was only trying to make a swatch. I was using a thicker yarn since that was all I have handy so perhaps when I try it again I'll use a thinner year and smaller hook that's closer to what you're using. It is a beautiful pattern. I never was taught how to read patterns or graphics and that's totally on me. I'm very much a visual learner and that's why I use tutorials such as this. RUclips and channels like yours have opened a whole new world of crochet possibilities for me and for that I'm very grateful. Much love, support and respect to you. God Bless🙏💛
